My New Amazing Lashes by Amazing Lash Mission Valley

 I've been wanting some luscious lashes.  Lately, it seems, that whenever I wear mascara I'm always rubbing my eyes or I fall asleep with it on, and so it gets all over my face and I even *gasp* pick it off.  Oh, the horror!

Well, when I was offered the opportunity to partner with Amazing Lash Studio to try some
complimentary lashes, I was ecstatic!  I've always wanted to get some, but was nervous about:
a.) how they would look
b.) how they would feel

I can tell you that they feel totally natural and normal, and I think you'd agree that they look fabulous!

SO here's how it went. I took my beautiful mom with me!

• NO caffeine that morning!! - otherwise your eyes will twitch and move.
• You show up makeup free, no oils or lotions on your face, especially near your eye.
• You sign a waiver.
• You get a room and lay down on a table with a pillow for your legs.
• Your aesthetician will put gel pads under your eyes, tape over your eyebrows, and some tape to pull up your eyelid.
• There is soothing, relaxing music to help calm your mind {and your eyes!} - My eyes were a little jumpy and twitching at first, but they relaxed with the help of the music. 
• This should take about 90 minutes, but mine only took about an hour.

The lashes are applied directly onto your existing lashes, not the skin.  That's important to know!  My mom and I got synthetic lashes, but for an additional fee mink lashes are also an option.

The studio staff were very friendly and accommodating.  They offered my mom and me some mimosas or orange juice.  The studio is impeccably clean.  The color scheme is pink and white, so you would be able to tell if it was dirty.

We had the best time, and after it was all done we were given after-care instructions on how to keep our new Amazing Lashes as long as possible.  Tip: don't rub or pull!

It is recommended that you go in every two weeks for a refill.  Otherwise, you can go every three weeks, but it does cost a bit more since there's a greater chance that you'll be missing more lashes.

The lovely Leola did my lashes, and Kayla put on my mom's.  They were both very professional and careful.
