My mom has this iPhone app that lists the foodie places that have been featured on TV, and Falafel's Drive In was on there. 

Yelp gave rave reviews, so why not go ahead and try it?  My mom has been exceptionally daring lately, trying things she normally wouldn't, and I have been bolder than usual since becoming a mom.  Some would say "it's just falafel". 

 

The recommendations were
1. Falafel 2. Banana Shake 3. Kuobby {which I didn't know how to pronounce, but was going to put in my mouth.  :O

 

Driving by, there was a line, which is always a good sign.  There were people of all walks of life here.  One thing I noticed was that the crowd wasn't too friendly, but the man at the window was.  

 

 Hello, may I have a falafel?  Don't make it awful, my first falafel. 

 

Nassif!!  I think that's what your name was.. you were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially for my first time and me not knowing exactly what to order.  Now, if you could pass along that great attitude to the lady food server, that would be awesome.  I saw she was a bit tight-fisted in handing out the extra "white sauce" to patrons.  It was tahini. 

 

In case you were wondering "What is a falafel?", read the wall.  

 

Eat, shop, live green?  Eat, shop, eat green.

 

There was plenty of outdoor seating, and loads of awesome wall/street art to intrigue and entertain.

If you live in the area, Falafel's Drive In now delivers.  Super!

 

Reminder that I just ran a half marathon the day before, so excuse my not-so-impressive model-look in this photo.  There was a guy approaching me and I snapped this shot as fast as I could.  It was awkward.  Makeup.  It's a good thing.  It's also missing from this photo.
